Laser Engraving

A clean, detailed finish

A precise laser creates your wording or design on the item’s surface. Wood usually develops a darker mark, while acrylic often has a frosted look. On coated drinkware, the laser removes the coating to reveal the metal beneath.

Commonly used for

Acrylic awards, wood gifts, engraving plates, coated tumblers, and laserable leatherette.

The color and contrast come from the material—not added ink.

Fiber Laser on Metal

Detailed marking directly on metal

Fiber laser marking adds names, logos, and designs directly to suitable metal surfaces. The result may be a dark mark, a lighter mark, or an engraved finish, depending on the metal and the selected process.

Commonly used for

Suitable metal gifts, stainless steel items, tags, and plates.

We’ll review the item and recommend the finish that works best.

Sandblasted Etching

A frosted finish with depth

We use a stencil of your design and a fine abrasive to etch the surface. This creates a crisp, frosted design with depth and texture—a classic choice for glass and crystal.

Commonly used for

Glass awards, crystal awards, and suitable glassware.

Especially effective for elegant wording and clean logo designs.

Bottle Etching

Turn a bottle into a keepsake

We etch names, dates, messages, and suitable designs onto glass bottles for weddings, anniversaries, retirements, and other special occasions. The etched design adds a personal touch to a memorable gift.

Commonly used for

Suitable glass wine, champagne, and other celebration bottles.

Bring your bottle to our store for an in-person review before we confirm whether it can be etched and where the design can go.

Color-Filled Engraving

Make the details stand out

After a design is engraved or etched, we can add color into the recessed areas to increase contrast. Color filling helps names, logos, and decorative details stand out against the surface.

Commonly used for

Selected plaques, glass and crystal awards, and other suitable engraved items.

Color options and suitability depend on the item and design.

Full-Color Sublimation

Bring photos and colorful logos to life

Heat transfers a full-color design into a specially prepared surface. Sublimation is a good choice for photographs, colorful logos, and designs with shading or gradients.

Commonly used for

Compatible award plates, photo gifts, mugs, and other sublimation-ready products.

This is a printed finish, so it creates color without a recessed engraving.

Full-Color UV Printing

Vibrant color directly on the surface

UV printing applies full-color ink directly to suitable surfaces and cures it with ultraviolet light. It is a great option for colorful logos, photographs, and detailed designs on selected awards and gifts.

Commonly used for

Selected acrylic awards, plaques, signs, and compatible gift items.

Availability, print area, and turnaround depend on the item and design. Contact us to discuss your project.

Can You Personalize an Item I Already Own?

Yes—we can personalize many customer-owned items. Please bring your item to our Wilmington store so we can inspect it in person. We need to check its material, finish, shape, and engraving area before confirming whether it can be personalized and which method is suitable.

An email or photo can help us start the conversation, but we must see the actual item before confirming the work.

Not Sure Which Method to Choose?

Tell us what you’re personalizing and send your wording or artwork. Our team will help you choose a suitable finish.
